JJ Degen is a Los Angeles based film editor with 10+ years of experience working in the film industry. His most recent work We are Osos is an eight-part sports documentary series following the Osos Monterrey professional football team in Mexico’s LFA. The series is produced by Supper Club and Mortal Media, the Los Angeles production company co-founded by NBA All-Star Blake Griffin and former NFL All-Pro Ryan Kalil.

Other recent work includes Netflix’s Air Force Elite: Thunderbirds, produced by Supper Club, Blue Ox Films, and Higher Ground Productions, the production company founded by Barack and Michelle Obama; Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return; and Stan Lee both released on Disney+.
